Mobile Creches’ COVID-19 response program was developed in response to the high rates of income loss and exacerbated poverty levels experienced by migrant workers and their children across construction site and urban slum communities where Mobile Creche efforts were focused. The framework for the response program was built upon the organisation’s previous work in providing centre-based ECCD programs for children of migrant workers at construction site communities in urban centres in India.
