An important gathering of top-level government officials and renowned ECD experts, professionals and practitioners from the Asia-Pacific Region took place on 1-3 March 2017, as the Asia-Pacific Regional Early Childhood Development Conference was co-organisd by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia and Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC) and the. The event, with the theme, ‘The Transformative Power of ECD: The importance of holistic interventions,’ served as a milestone for regional discussions and commitment setting on the importance of equitable access to an integrated approach to Early Childhood Development.
